The Heath River Wildlife Center presents a unique opportunity for visitors to see a spectacular clay lick visited by vibrant macaws and parrots just a short boat ride from the lodge–and from civilization. DAY 01 - AREQUIPA /COLCA VALLEY
Arrival transfer to local hotel in Arequipa, remain of the day free to explore. Available half days tours to Santa Catalina Convent, the country side or Tour of Toro, Muerto Petroglyphs. By air, this lovely city is 75 minutes south from Lima. Know as the White City because of the white porous volcanic rock that was used to build most of its building. Arequipa is surrounded by mountains. The White City has a pleasant climate year round.

DAY 03 - COLCA VALLEY/AREQUIPA
Early departure to the "Condor's Cross" observation point, from where the great Andean bird may be spotted.
